Welcome to February, 2025
February is Library Lovers Month!
By using the library, how much money does it save you, in a year? For instance you don't have to buy books. Several enjoy the crafting classes. Perhaps you save by using the library for your computer needs; saving on internet expense. Maybe you use it as a meeting place...
Something to Think About!
Libraries allow children to ask questions about the world and find the answers.
And the wonderful thing is that once a child learns to use a library,
the doors to learning are always open. Laura Bush

Unfortunately, we have lost our reservation software vendor regarding the Adventure Pass. Reservations may be made through December 31, 2024. However you will not be able to make reservations for the Adventure Pass after December 31, 2024 until this issue has been resolved. However if you have already made future reservations those are still in effect...you just can't make more reservations for after the 31st. of December, 2024. This is an issue for all libraries until a resolution has been implemented. We know this is disappointing and somewhat confusing, so please reach out to Lori at the library should you have questions. Thank you and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

For several months now, City Staff have been working to set up a Notification/Alert System to allow better communication with our residents. This system is hosted by Everbridge. Now, critical alerts about our water supply, community events, or other important information can be sent out quickly so everyone can stay informed. We have set up a web page “Stay Informed with Alerts” with links that will allow you to sign up and learn more information about the Notifications and Alerts. There was more information sent out with your water bill this month. Please spread the word so your neighbors can stay informed as well.
